Brakes ?

most of the braking effort is on the front brakes so they should be more powerful than the rears - I have the Brembo Big Brake upgrade which is just for the fronts - rear is stock. Just a thought....

Thanks chaps but surely with say if i had brembo on the rear i wont get any brake seizing it must be honda calipers that are cack. i have had loads of motors over the years but never had any break caliper seize like this.

The rear calipers on the S are extremely bad for seizing. They are clearly a pretty crap design as i've never heard of it on other cars as bad as the S.
Problem appears to be the seals allow moisture in and the pistons bind.
What does help is to keep the car indoors, handbrake off and always take it for a drive after washing it to get some heat into the brakes. I have always done that on other cars as it helps get rid of water from other areas too.
PS it's brake rather than break

Thanks MB mines on the street at mo as i havent a garage to put it in, but i leave it in gear with handbreak off. I did have a full valet done recently maybe waters got in from that i dont want to take it to main dealer because i know they will just want to replace caliper. Cost me £370 four months ago to get otherside done just gutting really.
