I was one of those scooby owners, 2 sets of EBC's, 2nd set free as first lasted less than 1000 miles. Ended up scraping 2nd set after 300 miles. Chose Godspeed's no more fuss.

How have owners found the EBC's on S2000?

I thought the redstuff were pretty good, road and track (unlike the yellowstuff which were terrible), and no excessive disk wear I was aware of.

Ferodos cracked both my front disks before I could get an idea of how much they were wearing the disks .

Same here. Only good things to say about the reds. I am trying the new yellows which are now supposed to work well when cold, so good for street also. But I have a bit on the reds to go before they need changing.

Well, see how these go. I know A couple of people with them on S's with no real problems.

And trinis has chipped in with his opinion. The one thing i'll say about braided lines is that they have never proveded and feel difference in my experience of using them.

I did do a test today - I measured the defelction of the Master Cylinder servo under heavy brake loads. WOW! it expands by about 5mm!
MC brace would surely be a good move!

Was looking at DS2500 Steve, but I heard that they chew discs...

ATEOTD, if they are crap, i'll replace them with something else

Fingers crossed!

As Kiwi says, get them bedded in on the way to JAE.

All harder pads are going to eat the discs more than OEM. The DS2500 wear OEM discs faster than OEM pads, but then my DBA4000 discs show very little wear with the DS2500 pads.

Ron, how long did you let the paint dry for before you put the calipers in the oven?

If you didn't leave them long to dry and let all the solvent out of the paint you may find that the next time they get hot the paint craters and flakes off. If you bake paint to soon and too quickly you trap solvent under a skin that forms on the surface of the paint. Then when the paint gets hot (often when a car is parked in the sun but with your brakes it'll be when you use them hard) the solvent expands and either blows craters in the paint or lifts the paint into blisters.
