I find that the stealers will usually drop their prices if you challenge them. I just wish they wouldn't try and rip you off. I've just had new pads all around after 10000 miles. I'm a bit concerned that the rears wore out first: there was basically no pad left on the rear and only 30% left on the front, so I decided to get them all done.

Is there any way of changing the brake bias?

Yes, just use a bit of throttle when braking....


....OK, perhaps not the most practical solution



Seriously, you could probably fit a brake bias valve, but I'm not sure what's involved with modern braking systems.

Do any of the clever people on here know why the rears on the S seem to work so hard?

Not sure why but mine did the same,and then i servied the calipers all round and then the front were faster at whearing out

Not such a stupid idea..., although it is. Been thinking about learning left foot braking recently. It's silly as it will just make the rears work even harder... but will improve my ring times if I can get it right.
