Dont think there's much, if any, difference between these and the OEM pads, except price of course, if you're going to change the pads yourself due to them being worn, and dont want to uprate them, I dont see the point in paying extra for pretty much the identical item just because its from Honda.

Blitzspear, you'd be surprised how few tools, and how little space, you actually need to do work like that.
If you've got a driveway, or flat space you can park the car, you could do it.

Right, I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and order the discs and pads from Brakeparts and then go to my local garage and get them to fit.
Anyone had discs from Brakeparts?

Brakes international supply OEM standard parts so buying discs and pads from them shouldn't be a problem what ever the make or model of the car. You just don't pay car makers prices!

I replaced all my discs last year from brakeparts, used black diamond pads up front and back, dont feel any different day to day, but tracked the S at donnington last week, no fade even after 3x1/2 hour sessions (1 in the wet ) OEM's used to fade after 6 laps or so.
I'm fairly hard on the brakes when i drive, the honda OEMs disintegrated after 2 dry track days last year, but i after this last track outing i dont really care if these thing die just as soon, as they are easy enough to replace (1/2 hr per wheel) and cheap from that website.
OEMs are just a rip-off IMHO. Wouldnt mind having some bling discs, but after reading lots about the subject, i dont think they'd perform any better than the setup i'm using now, please enlighten me if you have found different
P.S.
Just to qualify my last statement, unless i changed to bigger wheels, which would allow bigger discs/pads, and say 6 pot calipers, i think that would give better performance for about

I replaced my pads & discs both front & rear before going to the Nurburgring last Easter!
No complaints at all with quality of parts, they were from Brakeparts.co.uk
