Default Brake pads and discs

Can anyone recommend where to buy discs and pads from?

I need a full set of discs and pads (fronts and rears) and since I only use the S2000 for daily driving was just going to stick with OEM, unless anyone can suggest a similarly priced (or cheaper) set which will offer similar performance.

Thanks

I've been impressed with my Pagid front disks and pads for the last 10 months or so. Got them (with trade discount) through Euro Car Parts. I recommend them

I've just gotten MTEC Discs, grooved only, black edition all round for £158, and EBC Yellowstuff pads for £137 all round. Great for fast road and the odd track day which is what I do and why I bought them.

As a comparison, the following are all blank discs with no zinc/black coating to prevent rust on the exposed metal (there is no performance gain for a zinc coating, purely visual. My understanding of grooved discs is that they help deglaze the pads, but wear your pads quicker and offer no extra braking force - just help stustain a higher level of brake force for longer; i.e. on track @ higher temperatures)

Bremtech are £142 all round (HEL, trader on this Forum)
Mintex are £210 all round (eBay)
Pagid are £240 all round (Euro Car Parts)

I've gone for EBC Yellowstuff pads which are £137 all round, but they're a fast round / semi track day pad and run at high temperatures so they maybe surplus to your requirements. If you're not going to be tracking it then you could look at the cheaper Redstuff or even Greenstuff which are OE spec replacements. Alternative brands again for OE spec replacements would be Mintex (£55 full set) or Pagid (£63 full set).

Hope that helps!

Brakes International - £110 for discs all round. They supply Bremtech and other manufacturers discs.

Pad's, well choice is yours depending performance and price. Coxmotorsports its £86 for a new set of OEM pads which are good.

Recently fitted the deal from HEL on here:

Ferodo DS2500 Pads
Bremtech Discs
Fluid
Braided lines
and a Cusco brake servo stopper added too

It now feels like a completely different car from the OEM discs and pads i had on before.

Couldn't recommend this lot highly enough!!

Contact Ben @ HEL for more info.

I should take the seats out of my beater and put them in the elise. If only it would be able to pull them along
