i had pagid pads on my old mr2 turbo. very effective but they create dust like you wouldn't believe. one quick drive and your wheels are filthy.

ADL Blueprint Pads are close to the OEM's spec and are reasonably priced (try a factor such as Partco to obtain these - forget Halfords). I've been running mine for a month now and they perform very similar to the stock ones (but at 50% of the cost). While at Partco buy a tube of "copper grease" to lube the backs of the pads and the anti-squeal shims (also good for stopping the wheel nuts seizing up!)

Ferrodo had them on a mth and don't recon much to them as i get brake fade plus they don't work that well when cold so don't bother with them!
