I have just been researching the same thing and have gone for black diamond pads from Tokyo express based on a recommendation in another thread. You can find them cheaper after a short search but the P&P was less from Tokyo Express.
While we are on this subject does any one have a 'top tip' for screwing the rear pistons back into the calipers (ie what tool do you use).

I have had two S's serviced by an NSX approved dealer and EVERY TIME with out fail I get told it need pads and or discs!
At the end of the day the dealer is there to make money and the service desk guys will be given incentives to do so!
BTW nice to see a Honda Master Tech dispelling a few myths and welcome along!
