Which Brake Pads ?
My 02 S is in for a service at the moment and they have just told me I need new pads front and rear. The labour charge is horrendous so I'll do them myself but just wondered what I should be buying.
It's for fast road driving, not track work so would appreciate some recommendations and if anyone knows the best place to purchase I would be most grateful.

Realistically, I think the OEM's are good for road, even fast road (alpine runs excepted). I've not got around to fitting my porterfields yet, however I will be doing so in about a month, ready for the ring.

i like the porterfields, but do find them a bit noisy. For road use, the oem's are fine though and dead easy to fit yourself.
istr that oem pad prices have come down recently too.

Therein lies the rub.... We GB'ed 'em, ably organised by Budgie, although I got completely stiffed by the Royal Mail and delivery times. But then again I should really have replacement pads before I wear mine down to the metal
Basically they need importing either from the states or from Japan.

But no doubt they just import them.
Think I'm going to buy some more redstuff as my fronts are now making the audible warning.
