Break dust repellent
I have some break-dust repellent stuff for the alloys. My questions are, does it work? If so, how does it work and is it going to ruin my alloys?

Whatever the product name, in my experience they never work. Its usually best to use the wax that you use for your car on your wheels.
However I am trying the Supaguard stuff, so will let everyone know.
Whats the product, give us a clue?

I use "Brake dust barrier"
works for me....spray it on after cleaning the car and when it comes to cleaning next time, all the brake dust comes straight off with a spray of the hose.

the best product i found to remove grease etc - a must when u have an open chain - is plain old white spirit, tis okay on Alloys too.. Have used WD40, and Mr Sheen but this is cheaper still! Just ensure you wash off after application
