Brake balance problem
I've just had my car in for an MOT and apparently the brake balance is out at the front by 20% left to right. Although it still passed as it is within the 25% tolerance, i'd like to get the brakes sorted. I don't think it's related to air in the system as the pedal still feels firm and am wondering if it might be related to a sticking caliper. It pulls slightly to the left but tbh, i'd not noticed it until after the test this morning.
Has anyone else had similar problems?

sticky caliper, or brake surface issue.
about the only 2 it could be.
did MOT station give any hits to what it could be?
they usually spin the wheel when it's on the ramp & jacked up - wheels are spun and MOT guy askes for brake to be applied. a sticky caliper should be shown here.
if not, then it could be a friction issue; discs & pads.
that said, all it might need is for you to remove the pads, de-glaze both disc & pads with something like P80-P120 grit sandpaper, apply some copper grease and all will be good.

I can't believe how notorious the calipers are on this car for failing.
Honda's are notorious for sticking calipers my Del Sol had several replaced/rebuilt.
I suspect it's sticking a bit so i'll strip them down. It's either that a BBK...

Well, i've just replaced a siezed front caliper on someones S2000 today.
Unfortunately, I had to donate the calipers from my car to do the fix!
The rears were fine.

I see this lots and when i first got my s2 it had just had its 52k service and i posted about how crap the service had been done, i work at my little family buiness and when we do a service the brakes are stripped cleaned and greased, this stops the likely hood of this happening, but as i said earlier the crap servicing done by main dealers who are on bonus scheme (not all main dealers are like this but every one look at your brakes when they come back from the main dealer and see if you can see and signs of grease) dont bother doing it and to me a proper brake check is better than earning that extra pound !!!!!

Another good reason to DIY.
Was checking my bill for the last dealer service this week after a question asked on the forums.
They billed me for the correct -004 filter but that wasn't what they fitted.
Just one of a few naughties I have come across, can't trust them tbh.
As for brakes, yes it could well be air or moisture or both.
I did a fluid change recently and was careful to flush and bleed the system.
Braked pedal was firm and car seemed to pull up okay.
When I tested the ABS it showed up under hard braking as a big slew to the right.
Also one side activated ABS far earlier than the other.
I still had air in the line, a quick repeat bleed and it was okay.
Easy to do, so bleed them first.
