Default BP Ultimate?

What was the verdict on this?
Did anyone manage to find out the RON rating?

And is it any better than Optimax or not worth changing?

Only used it once so far, and mixed with 3/4 tank of Optimax, so no scientific verdict from me yet.

I did notice the car pulling better with it last weekend however, after disconnecting the battery to sort an immobiliser problem. Is this a resetting the ECU thing?

Filled mine up to the brim with Ultimate last week. Kangaroo'd all the way from the pump to the petrol station exit, also noticed it doesn't pull as strong as it did with Optimax. (99 car BTW)

Won't be trying it again.

Boy Wonder I am amazed??

I have always used optimax but as I do the M4 every day and I can only get Optimax either near home or in Windsor mid journey I thought I would try the Ultimate stuff.

I have been using it since it came out and have to say that I think it is much better than optimax. Car seems much more toghther, more responsive, pulls harder and no rev drop offs at any point. I switched back to optimax in the middle to make sure that I wasnt dreaming. i have been using ultimate ever since my car loves it.

To add to this:

I filled up with Esso SUL (97) and it was AWFUL! No VTEC kick and the car felt incredibly lifeless. It has now gone and been replaced with Optimax and all is back as it should be.

No BP Ultimate up here (that I've found) but I'll be sure to try it if I find some.
