Ian, it usually sits lower, folded neatly into the recess behind the seats. It was cold when the photo was taken though, and I didn't bother to raise it then lower it again to get it to sit properly.

I quite like the 'finned wing' spoiler as fitted to Ade's car (and the silver one with a full body kit to match)

I'm also looking at a rear (spoiler that is ).
Probably going for the small OEM one, but just wondering if anyone has fitted it themselves?
I'm aware that the front lip is a much easier proposition as the holes are already there, but am a bit dubious about the prospect of having to drill into the boot.
I take it the spoiler would come with a template for the holes?
If I don't feel I can go through with the drilling how much does the dealer charge to fit it, or do they generally do it for nothing when you buy one?

I bought a used OEM one with not template, so easy to install they are some intructions some where! Try the H and A web site in the states I think there is a PDF on their with all hte details in it!
Quick details are drill 8 mm holes through to circles already on inside edge of boot lid. Clean and paint holes. Tape thick tape to boot lid wher other two go! Position spoiler and press dwn to mark tape! Drill two more 8 mm holes, clean & paint! Locate spoiler, seal holes (I used silicon rubber), bolt down. Stand back and admire!
The OEM kit new from the stealer should include the boot springs to compensate for the extra weight. I didn't have them and I don't think many people fit them.
