Default Boot lid spoiler

I need to get my boot lid resprayed as there's a mark on it. I thought while i'm there i may as well put one of these on as have always liked them.

I get that honda don't supply separately so aftermarket seems the way, can anyone recommend anywhere?

Do i need to fit bigger boot springs?

Do i need some special tool for that?

Honda will supply the low level boot lip spoiler separately.

Anyone here had one of the eBay ones? Tempted myself. But getting a perfect fit and finish of the spoiler worries me so haven't bought one yet.

Just ordered one from here http://www.ebay.co.u...#ht_4286wt_1295

No idea what the quality is like but it's ABS plastic, not fibreglass and it's about 1/4 of the price that Honda charge for theirs. As a rough guide it's $378 from US Honda Dealers, since that price seems to equate to the same figure in pounds here then it's a risk i'm prepared to take.

Your choice, your money but as long as it's painted properly and the boot is prepped and cleaned before sticking it on I can't see how it can be any better / worse.

Fester, let me know how you get on as I fancy one of those at that price especially given that it's pre painted

Will take a load of pictures when it arrives and a few of it just sat on the car to give an idea of fitment / colour match. At that price painted, it's worth a punt

I ordered a Berm Blue low level spoiler from guys in Taiwan through Fleabay. Excellent quality and colour match. Very speedy delivery too.

Well recommended. Im fussy enough to want OEM quality and wondered if at £60 painted and delivered it would be anything like the think. No fear, its perfect. Even with bolts if you wish to drill the boot lid. Top quality.

Worth the punt!

£60! Bargain, definitely ordering one and taking a punt on it! What sort of taxes are we likely to be stung with for this item?
