Default Booked In For Paint Job :D

Just been to see "ChipTech" in Swansea.

I've booked my car in for a re-spray next monday

There is a few things on there, nothing major at all, that irritate me. Like the cracked paint around the headlights, arches have a million stone chips in there and rust is starting to appear on the inside of the rear arches, rear bumper isnt 100% perfectly fitted, i chipped a bit of paint from my boot whilst putting some golf clubs in, little scrach on my bonnet, was there when i bought it.

So im having all this fixed, and having a spoiler fitted at the same time.

Cant wait now!

Going in next monday, quite nervous.....

My mate works by the garage, and i asked him to pop in today to see how it was going.

They haven't started yet and its been in since monday 8.30am.

Apparently they are having a nightmare matching up the paint

they are going to spray up a few more cards, but if they cant match it by the end of today, then they will give up!

out of every business i have ever had to make use of, bodyshops seem to be the worst in the world at time keeping.

i've had the pleasure (or was is displeasure?) of using maybe 3 or 4 different bodyshops, and only 1 out of the lot could keep to the time they originally stated the work would be done.

In all fairness, they seem to be a decent garage.

And its not the time scale im bothered with, its the fact they cant match up the paint!

Don't know where i would go from here if they cant match the paint, apart from a full re-spray which is going to be allot of cash i suspect! allot more than the
