Yeah, follow Rizlas way of fitting as I completely forgot to!
And be careful with the locking pins - they bend easily which makes fitting them nigh on impossible!
I also coated all shiny metal bits with a thin film of engine oil - try and prevent the rust

Mine actually rubs and scratch the paint when the hood is closed.

The only thing I would say is when you attach the brackets to the bonnet (hood) that you make sure your L and R labels (stuck on the brackets) are on the appropriate side of the car.

I have installed it as per RISLAR instruction where the black bit is at the bottom.
Everything looks fine except the ball thing rubs against the fender.
People who have this knows that the gap between the ball and the fender is very close and mine actually rubs so pretty much there is no gap in between them.
