OMG it looks like a rolled TVR

Still, I expect the 2.2 will come with a "Wonderful list of options"

its just a computer generated mock up by auto express - much like the S2000 coupe. they're meant to be remodelling the car as a whole for it's update - can't think why

rolled TVR? surely that just looks like a chassis with some seats in it next to a pile of fibreglass

An RWD hot hatch with 265bhp does sound tempting. The best of both worlds, perhaps?

It could, if popular even lead to an 'M1'. Or the unofficial follow up if you like, to the M-Coupe...
You're right, it sounds tempting.

It looks bloody ugly though, like they modelled it on Scooby Doo's head.

Also, it's be bloody expensive, bought by aspirational wankers and be indistinguishable from a debadged poverty-spec 1 series with a stick on bodykit.

Doubt they'll resurrect the M1 name for a hatchback though, however hot.

Better story on Pistonheads.

The follow up the the Z3M Coupe will be the Z4M Coupe if you believe the rumours.. few more than 265bhp too
I just kinda meant that if it becomes popular they may release an M1, cos if you squint your eyes a bit (okay a BIG bit) doesn't look far off the M-Coupe as it is.
