In the S it is quite difficult to feel what the front tyres are doing, but in the Z4 it is the complete opposite, you feel too much, but the Z4's rear is very numb and feels a little detached.

I like this cos it means I have still not found a good reason to replace the S with anything for a similar price

Good review but a car that ugly would have to have something really special going for it to make up for the looks and it only sounds OK from what you have to say about it. Also, I don't like the idea of traction control or whatever else taking over from the driver - one of the reason's I bought the S was that its design ignores this sort of thinking.

A few years ago, even the saddest ricer wouldn't have used the profiles now appearing.
As Britain's roads return to dark ages condition, WTF?
PS - Styling. Is Chris Bangle related to Salvador Dali?
In grey, it looks like one of Dali's dreamscape creatures.

I thought it was more like a early Van Gough dreamscape myself, dark and heavy

it is a very good car and i am still not sure on what to get in september out of the 2 (s2000 or z4 3.0). the dsc is a good part of it, when you are not looking to drive it hard and when you are, it is a nice feature to have when you want it..
