Can't see why anyone would want a Z4 instead of an S2000 ?!?!
A sleek sportscar, against a, well, blunt posing car ?!!?

I wouldn't go that far. The car is FWD and will easily understeer off the road with the ESP turned off.

This must mean the Z2 is officially dead then.
Part of the Z3's failure was said to be down to it trying to be an MX-5 rival and a Boxster rival at the same time.
That's why BMW wanted to do 2 cars as a follow-up.
Things are obviously going a bit pants for them, so they can no longer afford it.

Have you pushed a 150BP to the limit then? IMO there's certainly no point it having a Quattro sys. That half leather's a bit crap too.
I never thought there was going to be a Z2? They are going to launch a 2 series though (unless they call it 1 series convertible & coupe).

The 150bhp TT does not have Quattro, to keep the weight down. IIRC it doesn't even have 1/2 leather, cloth only on the 150bhp version.

Yes (didn't make myslef clear) - as you said FWD - what I meant was it could never be justified cause its just not needed - would never be used.
The 150 bhp TT was built down to a price, hence the lack of 4WD.
I don't think you can knock these cars too much - it lets people get into quality convertibles at a more reasonable price. OK, they don't have the power to cut it, but plenty people aren't too bothered about that.
The FWD TT will presumably save a bit of weight anyway, so the power loss may not be as significant as we think.
