Blown Engine!
#31
I had a problem with a kinked PCV pipe on a FIAT 1.6 twin-cam engine some years ago. The engine kept popping its dipstick out, which was a bit surprising if you were standing near it.
A bit of Elastoplast to hold the pipe straight fixed it, but it shows that hot air expands a bit!
How exactly that would affect the flow from the oil pump thought the galleys to the mains, is beyond my reasoning.
If the dealer were to say "you put a silly rice pipe on it, tough!" then fine. But to come out with some quasi-religious mumbo-jumbo to baffle you with bullshit is very, very offensive.
Perhaps sending Mr Doherty over there to scare 'em might be a fitting response!

Don't let it go gib, make sure you tell them that you will take it to court and then send the boys in after its all died down just cause they tried to take the piss(small fee of course )

If Honda are blaming this on loss of oil, the simple question is did the engine have oil in it or not after it went bang.
When did you last check/top up the oil.
If there is too little oil in it now - if so where has it gone? Are there oil puddles/streaks anywhere that show where it has escaped?
These will give clues.
Bad luck though.
