Default Bloody traffic lights....

OK, I spent the last 18 months driving an Elise S1. A car where, if you want to take the roof off, you have to confirm with people strategically placed at points on your route, the prevailing weather conditions at the time. This is due to the fact that the Elise hood is like assembling a frame tent from the 70's.

So this morning, I'm driving to work in a car with arguably the fastest power hood in the west. It's raining when I set off but when I get off the motorway the sun comes out. YAY!!

So I think to myself, first set of lights and I'll put the top down.

Every single light on green!

Arse!!

I had this problem last night on the way home from work. Apart from i already had the hood down and want to put it back up as the rain was to heavy to get away with!

Its in the FAQ

Modifications & Upgrades

Raising and lowering the roof on the move

Cutting Speed sensor wire.
This allows you to raise or lower the soft top whilst moving, with one click of the handbrake on.

It comes in handy in two situations.
a: When stuck in slow moving traffic with the top down and the rain comes on, you don't need to stop.
b: It pisses off other S2000 owners if you can put the top up while moving when your're on a meet and it starts to piss down.

NOT recommnded at anything above 10mph though.
