Born & Bred in Sh!tsville now I avoid it likr the Fcuking plaque.

you must be mad to go to Blackpool Period. especially bank holidays.

be carefull on the prom, with pissed up hoards et al.

If your staying in a proper hotel there is decent parking.

Drove there from Formby (just N of Liverpool) to see what it was like last year. Did'nt stop the car and drove straight back. Blackpool = Chav capital.

Sammyc i would not like to leave my S around on a bank holiday. I live in "pissed up tourists pool" and it is not a friendly place at times.

I was in town on saturday night and it was not a pretty sight. Most half decent car parks close at 9 and the rest are not safe at all. I try to avoid parking in town.

Drunk + tourists + nice car =

If you REALLY want to drive your S to blackpool, you could park it up my driveway if you like. My scottie will be a good watch dog!!

What's the point in having a nice car and not driving it? Waste of time buying the damn thing!! Get out there and drive it FFS. You have insurance incase anything happens to it. If you're that worried, sell the S and buy a Metro then you can drive anywhere you want and not have to worry.

I've been to Blackpool loads of times and I've seen loads more expensive cars than an S parked there!

It should be alright if you park it between a couple of TVR's

Just don't park in the middle of town or near the prom. That is where the trouble can occur.
