I looked at a Deep Burgundy Metallic S2K before I bought mine. I really liked the colour whihc looked much better in the flesh. The only reason I didn't buy the car was it was poorly maintained.

Ohh I can tell already this is going to be a difficult choice!
My eyes are pretty crap with colours which is a problem as I'm colour bind with some shades of colours so need something that I will be able to see properly or there's no point!
Is that picture of the Miata/MX5 the black cherry/ebony mica?

Night Hawk Black is nice, but isn't obvious enough that it has flecks in it for me, if that's what you want.
But surly if you're going to re-paint your car why don't you go for something totally different to what's available as OEM on the S2000 or any other Honda for that matter ??

Some of the jags (xj) at work have a lovely black with a red metallic flake that makes it almost look a plum colour in certain lights. It's actually a lot nicer than it sounds. I will try to get a picture of it and post it next week.

A mate of mine has a VW Polo show car
In all seriousness, it's a really nice colour! (& car... Although powered by the front wheels, obviously!)
