Default Biteme's Moonrock

Just put my deposit down yesterday for a lovely s2k off this forum... just need to wait for logbook then I have the lovely drive from Southampton to Manchester to collect it......

Exciting stuff but waiting like anywhere up to 3 weeks for the logbook to come back from the private plate... its day 1 and killing me already!

Little about me while you wait for new pictures of the S2k lol

As an avid car fanatic I will introduce myself in a method of a classic forum fan with my background of cars. It is a big list so I will only show the more recent few as had a few saxos and mgzr and bmw z3 in the past etc etc

My first VAG was a commuter, 155k miles 1.9tdi 130 quattro.. was sweet as a nut and completely mint, I dont think the previous owner ever got in the vehicle and did 155k miles on a rolling road!

had a bit of a moment and went french.... but was a fantastic car.. Ktec exhaust too!

then onto the track and jap with a mk2 mx5 RS lightweight balanced engine internals lsd 6 speed lowered roll bar lotus elise seats on custom runners (im 6ft4) exhaust wheels etc etc

Zurich lake

and back to trusty VAG in the form of my R32 she was very nice. Half leather heated konigs, sun roof, blueflame exhaust spacers lowered on H&R and a few other little bits.

Finally now have a BMW 130i LE with 6pot BMW performance brakes and performance exhaust, selling this to my father so staying in the family and bought the S2k!

Let me know what you think, lots of detailing on the way and a list of mods to come!

Welcome.

Although the car is now a bit long in the tooth I can imagine that wait for the first drive as an S owner is still laced with excitement and trepidation. Enjoy

I assume you're the guy who's bought the Moonrock one with the red/black interior?

If so, that really did look like one of the tidiest S's i'd seen on here in ages. Good luck with it.
