Default Bird poo removal?

Little sh*t!

What's the best way of getting it off? Nail brush and hot water?

Andrex for birds.

Dampen, then put paper towel over "affected area" and dampen again. Leave to soak and keep it damp for five or ten minutes. Then it washes off without scrubbing.

We used warm water and a cloth to remove it from our bedroom carpet after a bird flew in through the window this morning. I was rudely awakened to the sound of flapping

Keep it moist is most important and allow it time to soften as Spanners said.

Finish off with a cleaner like Raggtopp or a detergent (wash this off well) and then re-protect the hood with the protectant of your choice

A little light scrubbing with a soft bristle brush if there is residual staining is OK but get the poo off first.

Car got covered recently;

You need the stuff to be as soft as S**T, so do as mentioed above. I usually will then jet wash it off and finish with a clean damp sponge.

I always have some car cleaning wipes in the car (not just for the S).

When this happens (and it is a matter of when as my workplace is the home of 2 pairs of rooks and a pair of doves) I put a wipe on it for a minute, then wipe gently, repeating until it is all gone.
Then the hood gets a gentle rubbing at its regualr wash at home.

I do this for the bodywork too. The important thing is: remove as soon as possible (especially on paint). I did not do this on a previous car we had and the paint was permanently damaged. Now I do not even start my car unless it is bird poo free.

Water's your best bet. It goes eventually.

Birdshit is strongly alkaline, so avoid anything with an acid base!
