Ok I have now accepted the offer made by the insurance company and banked the cheque!

I have decided on a new car and bought one with the engine at the wrong end.

As for my car one of the main reasons I posted this thread is that I guess parts will eventually appear at salvage sites etc. I wanted to give a heads up that I had a mechanical over-rev due to a fluffed downchange about 5k miles ago (the car had only done 29k in total). The car went through a service no problem and there were no bits in the oil etc. I have the cars chassis number if anybody needs to know. PM me.
