Bibbs does your car when your press the throttle feel a bit less responsive than it used to even sort of laggy? I am not sure if this is the supercharger or if my throttle cable needs tightenning or something?
I think it's the added resistance on the engine now, it doesn't feel as revvy on part throttle, but on large throttle it feels more revvy. If you get that I mean.

The S/C will put more load on the pulleys and therefore the engine. There will be some lag there too, although nowhere near like turbo lag.

I ran mine with no belt on for about 3 weeks and felt no different so im sure its not the resistance through the blades.

Well tomorrow is the day mase has a go tuning mine with AEM 1052U and the 9psi pulley, fingers crossed it will go all ok.

I'm running beltless on the blower today and jeez does it feel slooooooow.

I'll let you know Friday night if its still running or dead.

Whats considered to be the upper level of boost on a stock internal motor for normal usage, using something like AEM for precise mapping?

9psi?

Okay guys, Quick question time.

Oil pressure and Temperature. What are acceptable running temps?

Low/high margins would be good so I can use them on a guage to warn me when I'm out of spec.

I got the 4 thermocouples in as the same time as the crank vents. After a warm up and a quick drive round the block to get it to running temps.

Engine bay - 25~30deg (Just behind the rad at the top)
Intake - 15~20deg (Comptech box works well then)
After SC - 35~40deg
After cooler - 15~20deg

Still got the MAP and EGT to wire in to confirm what boost I'm running.

Is the hose from the TB to the FPR a good hose to tap for the MAP?

Oil pressure and temp info I use:

Operating temperature of oil
Normal usage operating temperature 80c (176f) to 100c (212f)
Competition use 129c (265f) to 138c (280f)
Temperature of 93c (200f) will burn off any water vapour

Operating oil pressure
At idle 36psi minimum = 250 Kpa
At 3000 rpm 85psi minimum = 590 Kpa

"my"warnings set at:
Oil pressure 1.5 / 150 Kpa (low setting)
Oil temperature 130c (high setting)
Water temperature 97c (high setting)
