Big ask, need to borrow an AEM ECU.
Evening gents,
Occasional poster rather than big forum guy and it's a long shot but I thought it worth asking all the same...
I need to try another AEM series 2 on my car to check whether mine is functioning correctly or faulty, if anyone has one I could borrow then of course it would be greatly appreciated.
I am located in Crewe, Cheshire and my car is up in Bamber Bridge near Preston, would need it for a day or two.
Reason for asking is I have an S2000 engined MX5 with this ECU, was running perfectly then we fitted a supercharger.
I bought the supercharger kit, injectors, fuel pump and map sensor all together and also took a copy of the map from the car those parts came from.
We then fitted all of these parts, uploaded the map and took it to the dyno, where it had a misfire at ~7000rpm.
We have changed a great many things in an attempt to solve the problem and also tested lots, the ECU is next on the list.
There are no errors when logging on the dyno and neither Chris at EFI nor the chaps at Blink Motorsports could identify the problem.
I am a genuine guy with a few acquantances on here that I'm sure would vouch for my honesty, and help greatly apprecieted. :thumb-up:

Thanks Ron, and thanks for the offers gents.
Azzzah, if you find one please let me know and I will gladly take you up on your offer.
Mr. Mantecosa, do you happen to know if maps are interchangeable on the series one and two, and also if they have the same plug type?
If anyone else could help with the question of series 1 and 2 compatibility it would be helpful.
