Thread has been buffed up for Xmas

Thanks for the heads up OP. A PITA when that happens
Have you seen the breakers list in our FAQ pages?
One unfortunate member as you'll see in a recent post, lost a car this week on ice.
Maybe you could 'tactfully' approach them to see where the salvage is heading?
You really dont see many engines around for less than 3k tbh.

Good luck with the hunt.

Yes, thats very true!

One of my customers at Trawsfynydd is building what I think is a Locost with one in.
Cant wait to get to see that, hopefully get him to play at Anglesey next year.
If I had the time I would definately do the same, he's using s/a ECU I dont know (green something??)
And ITB's with some cam work I believe - should be a weapon!

A Westfield with a F20c dropin was when i first starting learning about ECU's etc at my mates tuning spot - he put the engine in made the mounts etc. Apparently it did very very well in championships, the engine had 100k on when it was put in and is still going well.

Dont know about the ECU, the only ones i know about used on an f20c are...

Emerald
Motec
DTA

Heres what i was helping with a few weeks back, an old golf with Jenvey ITB's my mate specialises in installing/tuning ITB's.

Bollocks I've gone Offtopic again sorry to the O/P.
