Best question of the year !
Hi All,
If all goes well I will have enough put a side to choose between turbo or supercharger after christmas.
Ive seen both systems added and I'm leaning towards Supercharger, just for the added bottom end grunt
I would like your input/reviews anything really.
Many thanks.

SC for less problem and more reliable and if you want more power, all you need is a smaller pulley!
Turbo for more problem, less reliable but very easy to get big power and less user friendly!

Does a supercharger give more bottom end grunt?
I was under the impression that a medium sized turbo could be made to spool up nicely by about 2,500rpm giving a noticeable improvement in power/torque by 3,000rpm.
Superchargers I thought were more dependant on engine speed?
I only have experience in turbos, so freely admit my understanding could be wrong on the Supercharger front.

there are dozens of threads on the choice between the two or on either installation
a search should bring up most of them
there are also quite a few chavs, sorry owners, on here who have done the mod
they'll be along shortly

Thanks for the intro Gaddafi-
I added a small turbo to mine to add a bump of power to the sadly lacking midrange. I love the Chassis on this car and personally enjoying the relentless tinkering associated with turbo instals on S2000s.
The main aim of my car was to be a very competitive track day car with a a twist. Unfortunately I ve only managed 8 laps this year due to my work commitments and the reliability issues of a modified car.
If I were you I would have a long think about what you really want out of your S2000 before you commit to either of these money pit schemes for an increase in power output.

my personal preference for cars is the SC setup. power delivery is more linear and more true to the NA spirit. i've never owned either setup and never expeirnced them in an S2K but have been out in other cars.
i also love the whine of superchargers over the turbo phsss sound.

I think the turbo would come on boost quicker and would give better bottom end grunt rather than the supercharger...

Personally i wouldnt bother. (Especially on a car as new and in such good condition as yours)
And ive been in just about very configuration of the above and i've probably done the most turbo work on an S2000 this side of the pond.
Just my 2 pence worth

I agree with Lucky, I would wait until the warranty expires and then go tinkering with your beloved
