The driver in the M3 seemed to be driving harder than the S - seemed much wider coming out of the corners - until the Lotus started nipping at it's heels.
Suprised about the SL55 performance - could it have been a duff motor ? I'm sure that I saw a big puff of smoke come out of the exhaust on one of the gear changes.
Not a bad result really. I pity the MX-5 driver though
