Mole

Given a dry smooth road what produces the most grip a revised aligned 00/01 or the new 02 model? I sort of assume that the 02 is more effective over a bumpier road. Has anyone driven both back to back in anger or on a race track? I have a 00 and have not driven the 02 but I do love the hard ride of the 00, it kind of makes me feel like im driving something thats a proper sports car, which of course the s is. Does the 02 detract from this in anyway? comments/discussion would be great from both sides.

Someone should ask Don Palmer for a comment. He seems to have lashed a huge number of 00/01's and 02's around bruntingthorpe. When I last spoke to him he thought the 02 a more sane proposition for the road, based on the taming of the oversteer, but it might be good to get further comment from him.
