Third definately, I took some in car film the other day on one part I am in third, foot down from about 4k upto 9k, just didn't realise how long you actually stay in gear, awesome!!

Yea 2nd as long as you chnage down at 45mph ish. on contry roads. It takes you to well over the 60mph limit at light speed acceleration. 3rd is great but to feel all the vtec zone you are stating to do very fast speeds which is great but not always attainable. 2nd Vtech and the first part of 3rd for me!!!!

Top Gear of course (on in just over an hour)

3rd, because you've still got loads of acceleration but going pretty fast. At least that's how I remember it.
