I'd go with 2nd as my favourite but I also love 1st gear on very tight corners and junctions - nothing better than nailing it and getting the backend right out at low speed

I would usually say second, but I've been giving it a bit of first gear action this morning to revel in the concerned looks given my bystanders as my exhaust howls

It's got to be third, great for pulling out to overtake on long straights (or short ones!!)

1st gear. This is the only car I've ever had where you routinely drop into 1st once on the move.

3rd for me. Was torn between 2nd and 3rd, but as most of my driving (and therefore enjoyment) is on faster b roads, 3rd wins it. Also nice for the Motorway VTEC drive by on anything with it's window down

For the twisties round near my house I love 3rd but for the tight corners and great acceleration 2nd is my fave.

2nd for me as demonstrated round the bends on the A537 Buxton to Macclesfield road yesterday (Cat & Fiddle again). Wish this road was on my way to work
