2nd and 3rd for me too. 4th OK as well now I've got a police camera/radar detector (fitted today). I'm not keen on first since it seems a little less comfortable vtec-ing in this gear as opposed to 2nd. Thinking about it, the engine doesn't seem to accelerate as keenly to 9K in first as it does in second. To me, the engine seems happier going to 4 or 5K revs in 1st and then into second and just let it build RIGHT THE FECKIN WAY ROUND TO 9000...... unless one is in a HELLUVA rush away from the lights...... I also like to hold it on half throttle up to 6.5/7 K revs and then slowly press my foot to the floor till fully down at 8-9K revs: feels like it aspirates better that way.

Hard to decide between 2nd and 3rd......but 3rd's faster.

4-5k entering a tunel and bury the throttle get that rumble as the engine loads up and then builds to a swcreaming howl as you fly past 8k

Third is best - second is good for r/abouts but its not fast enough anywhere else - 4th gear is jailbait

 

2nd is the one they put extra synchros in got to be the best and most used
