Best on B roads?
I am going to be buying a car in the next year or so and have narrowed it down to either an s2000, supra or an rx7 running cost aside which car would be the fastest b road blaster? I have looked at other threads comparing s2000 to rx7s and to supras on the website but I am only really interested on how the car performs on b roads as I already have a track car and a diesel for my daily driver. Is the speed difference between an s2000 and an rx7 that great?

No. It is a 1960's British convertable roadster that loves B roads.
And all the power is between 6 and 9K - so you really have to think smart on how do drive it well.
To be frank... get a test drive in one - on some twisty roads, and try to keep the revs between 6 and 9K.
You will either
A/ Get it - and love it
B/ Hate it as it is hard work.
Kind of like Marimite really.

Wahahah. You came to the right place.
In the past 18 months i have had a host of cars, from a 380bhp RX7 to a 400bhp Supra 6spd.
Supra - The supra is an amazing car with its uber reliable 2JZ-GTE block. However this is not a car for the touge. I had mine setup on HSD coilovers and a full track setup and my S2000 with eibach springs is already better. My friend also has a similar setup supra and i passed him on the touge and left him for dead.
RX7 - Classic Jap car with a lot of potential. I had mine setup with steel turbos on a full non-sequential setup. I would however never own one again due to every time you go and put the key in and turn it on you are waiting for something to go horribly wrong. Shortly after i sold it the engine gave up after only 3k on a rebuild.
Now after having my 400bhp power trips im back to 240bhp, NA and i can safely say this is the most involving car ive owned and will always put a smile on your face. Also the reliability is a mega bonus.
Go for the S2k. You wont be disappointed.
