I have never used it, in fact my tonneau cover hasn't even been out of the original packaging 
Thats where the Boxster and Toyota MR2 roofs are better, they fold away leaving the only the top of the roof exposed.

Got a bit of spray on the rear view mirror, though..

we were averaging 15mph acording to the SatNav. Rain does NOT fly off at that point.
