yeh i know the button u mean. but isnt there an option to switch audio mute on/off in the features menu? what didfferebce does that make. ive tried it with it off and on and it made no difference!

9.41 GHz (X-band), Uk default setting: off

13.45 GHz (Ku-band), Uk default setting: on
24.125GHz (K-band), Uk default setting: on

34.0 GHz (Ka Smal-band),Uk default setting: off
34.3 GHz (Ka Smal-band), Uk default setting: off
34.7 GHz (Ka Smal-band),Uk default setting: off

I would only bother with K band on the Bell. The fact is if you look around on speed trap bible, only K band gets used on the mobile hand held detectors (even those are now almost extinct as the lasers are taking over)
Gatso's use K band and that's about it really.
All other's use rumble strips or SDT methods so a radar detector is not as much use as one with GPs and Laser detection.
I've been away from work for a while, I'll go speak to the Weapons guys to see what their Planet sized heads think.
