A classic example of which would be Greenpeace:

Its founder went off and has set up a new organisation (I cannot remember the link!) because he felt that GP had been infiltrated by so many loony lefties with no post-socialism agenda & other such radicals, it was no longer reflecting its original 'talk with big business & find a way forward' agenda.

That's the problem with many of these organisations. What starts off as a basically reasonable postulation becomes Pythonised.
