I have had some strange noises and a judder too. Car was serviced last week and it hasn't been running smoothly either. Wonder if this has anything to do with 04's and the engine oil as all I could get was mobil 0-40. It just feel rough on the engine when driving and I thought it was just me.

Yeah mine isn't running the best, although this too is intermittent.

5W40 went into mine - fully synth.

Has anybody had an 04 serviced and not had these symptoms

Should we build a list of affected cars and take it to Honda UK?

EDITED now re-read you post! It's not like ABS no, it's a quick shivery shake/shudder, it's more like the car shivers - the engine shakes which passes it up through the wheel.

Andy, the revs are dropping too low, so that the engine feels ike it's about to stall, then catches again.

probably very different but mine was doing that the other day after my flat batter (left lights on moment). Was sat idle for 15 mins after RAC boosted me and it kept going from 6 lines down to 4 were it shuddered like it was about to choke and stall then picked itself up.

Thing is i have never idled for 15 mins before but.. it didnt sit there level, tickover was up and down. Not sure if it was the battery or not. would assume it shouldnt have been

Sounds different I think - Idle is stable, on mine at least.
