You guys have waaaay too much time on your hands!
If you disable the beep which tells you your keys are in the ignition and then you get out of the car and close the door, it may well lock your keys in the car.
I don't think I need to explain that if you disable the beep which tells you your lights are on, you may leave them on and get a dead battery!
Leave the car alone! Beeps are there for a reason!

Beeps have rights too you know!
I had the keys in the ignition when I decided to get out and have a look at my car (as someone was parked so close to me, I was worried about scratches!). When I went to get back in the car it had locked itself with the keys in the ignition.
