No need to guess, StevenM can tell us as he's back to honda spec offsets (My initial impressions of the SSRs on mine as against the OEM 16" wheels are very positive, but obviously I'm now on lower profile tyres and running different tyre type)

I find it bemusing that people get so obsessed over minor differences in offset as if they were driving a bloody racing car, but c'est la vie.

My Dads soon-to-be-replaced Volvo T4 has BBS wheels, they are a bitch to clean.

(Also I think Honda might take exception to the premise that it doesn't matter whether the steering offset is -ve, centre-point or +ve)

You can get a nice set of Volks with decent tyres for that sort of money!
Lighter and easier to clean!

I wax my wheels.
Just put a good couple of layers of polish and wax on them, dirt comes of easy and I never have to use proper wheel cleaner!

Cross spokes suit Golf GTI's (MkI and II only), BMW E30's, and Jag E'Types. That's it.
