Battery Woes
Apologies, but so far the original battery has served me pretty well. That is until this morning to find the car wont even open. To be fair have not used it the last 3 weeks.
Tried to have a glance in the batterie's window to check the status (the Hydrometer) however cant tell whether its ok, needs water(i thought they were NO maintenance - how come they need distilled water????) or dead.
At the moment am charging it and the meter is saying it has reached 6 AMPS. Is that ok?
If i buy a replacement what do i get in terms of mAh. Morever the FAQ states to pay attention to the side of the postive/ negative.
Any other tips?????
Thanks

It might the climatic conditions in Malta causing the cells to evaporate over the years?Best bet is to get a new one mate, no point scrimping where batteries are concerned. I see them as a service item that I have to change every 3-4 years to be on the safe side.... You have PM by the way! Thank you.
