Just replaced mine with a Bosch from Euro Car Parts who have an extra 15% of batteries at mo. Bosch comes with 4 year guarantee and cost me £51 incl next day delivery!

Ideal, and I had no issues with my alarm.

Do you have the part number for the bosche battery?

Cheers
Just pop your reg in on home screen and it lists all parts for S2000 particularly your year and model.

Hi sorry, quick question. Two Bosch batteries come up:

1) Bosch Battery (S4 158). 45Ah. Length:238mm Width:129mm Height:225mm £55
2) Bosch Battery (S4 014). 60Ah Length:232mm Width:173mm Height: 225mm £67

Any advice on which one to get? Will the 45Ah be sufficient and fit? Thanks

Right i've just measured my current battery and it seems the 45Ah 129mm wide battery is the one that'll fit.

I bought the 45Ah one and it's a perfect snug fit and works a treat.

Minus 7 degrees this morning, and it fired at a touch of the switch, didn't even hear the starter motor. Wow an I glad I changed it last week!

Plus one for N5THM - Battery ordered - the neighbours will be pleased if my alarm stops going off at 6.30am! I see Eurocarparts have Bosch oil filters for £4.20 if anyone is interested.

I got the Bosch one today, just like halfords they listed one with terminals wrong way around.

45AH one matches the old one, not sure how the big one would fit?

Just wanted to say thanks guys, been trying to find the correct battery all day after my battery gave up totally over the cold weekend. all sites list the batteries for s2000 but with -/+ wrong way around.

the bosch 45ah seems to be the perfect fit and with correct terminals altho the CCA rating (300) is a little lower the the standard honda battery which im about to replace (450cca)

thanks also for the discount code.

Errrr, Sorry for the delay in completing my battery story. Anyway I went OEM from Lookers (Honda)Bexleyheath. Yes they fitted it for £85. Shame that they did not clean the sand off it first though! Gerrrrrh. Still at least I managed to do that!

I believe Shield Batteries in Bishops Stortford can supply the correct battery with the polarity the correct way round for £40 somthing + vat, but you have to fit it. Don't get the polarity wrong, or short out the terminals or short the + to the body. don't do if you don't know be careful.

I had to buy new battery for the Jazz this weekend is was a bit tired in the cold, £38 + VAT 2 year warranty. It was all of a 5 min job, with one 10mm spanner and a blob of vasilene, now what else was that useful for?

Kwikfarts wanted £69 and Halfrauds could'nt supply from stock.
