Battery replacement
#11
I didn't go to Halfrauds in the end, I have a friend who manages the local motor factors. He sold me a top of the range Yuaca battery for the bottom of the range price, also threw in a pair of jump leads so I didn't have to worry about reprogramming anything, 15mins later and only £49.49 plus VAT, all done.

When you say you used a pair of jump leads, do you mean you attacheed the jump leads from the terminals on the new battery to the battery leads for the car before you removed the car leads from the old battery? In effect you have two batteries connected to the car leads for a few minutes before you take out the old battery?
I need to replace my battery as on cold mornings the alarm is going off when I first turn the engine over - common battery problem according to the forum.

Just replaced mine with a Bosch from Euro Car Parts who have an extra 15% of batteries at mo. Bosch comes with 4 year guarantee and cost me £51 incl next day delivery!
Ideal, and I had no issues with my alarm.

This is all good info. Very helpful. (Espically the Honda part No).
I have not used the car since I posted this topic but need to use it tomorrow. If it starts I will drop in to Lookers Bexleyheath and buy one to fit at the weekend.
