Question Battery is dying on my key fob :-(

Hey all,

Nearly got stranded last night cos the battery on my alarm key fob is about to give up.

Could anyone advise me as to where i can buy a replacement from? Preferably quickly.

MY02 uk, standard alarm with 2 button key fob.

Cheers,

Brent

Ok, i'll give them a look in at lunch.

Does anyone know what batteries will fit?
or do i have to stick to the "L 1022 9v"

I've got a homebase & a curry's near me, will they have any?

Yup! Maplins.

Had a couple of scary moments with the Prelude; got in but couldn't unimmobilise it.

Mind you, the passers-by probably had a scary moment too; I was furiously masturbating the alarm fob, in order to get some heat into the battery.

Must've looked odd, but it worked.

Bought my last replacement online from Battery Force. This is what you want for the two-button fob:

Is it not just an undo a screw & swop over task?
Was for me.
