Hi ya, BlackGT

Welcome to the Garden City!

Watch out for the Herts Meets on the first Thursday in the month. They have been held at the Sun Inn in Lemsford recently.

Have you tested the battery to ensure it has in fact taken a charge? if it is knackered it would appear charged on the charger gauge but it may have no power.

update....

Finally got the new car battery (had to send it back twice due to incorrect website automation). Went for a Halfords one in the end.

and I am unhappy to announce it has done bugger all!!

Rung Honda and they say that the circuit board on the alarm could be to blame and will cost £160.00 to fix...ouch and that does not include trying to get the car there!

before you do that, try replacing the fob battery.

I had similar symptoms and the fob battery had gone.

Better to pay a bit more to get the alarm replaced. The alarm you have is notorious for this and chances are it will happen again in a few years time.

Lookup 'Frontline Vehicle Security' these guys install in the area and usually do good prices.

Changed the key fob battery just in case and again it has done nothing - I have the same problem.

I decided to try one more avenue!! and ring Hamilton & Palmer the manufacture of the Alarm. The sales assistant has asked me to ring back Tuesday to speak with the tec guy to see if we can re-sync the alram to the fob.....

Fingers crosses...
