Bank Holiday car cleaning II
#11
might have a go at mine after the run tomorrow. I really should buy few better products for mine, I keep on getting Halfords stuff ut want to get some sealant and decent wax. I've been very careful when cleaning it but there are a couple of swirls which were put in by dealerships

Hi Paul,
Are you thinking of the Dodo Waxes? The Lime Prime's a pre-wax cleaner with mild abrasives (similar to #80) which has excellent lubrication. I'm giving it a go because reports on DW suggest it's one of the best products for minor correction on 'sticky' Honda paint and can be used to supplement other polishes and prevent premature drying. I use collinite #915 as a LSP. I used to use #7 but it kills durability on the collinite How do you find it with Zaino? Do you apply by hand or RO?

Zaino might not like going over the top of #7 will have to see how that develops, sometimes though you just have to try things see what works, this is how we gain our experience is it not ?
I apply #7 by hand and with a minuscule amount, say two drops the size of two skittles (the sweets not the things Rizlar uses in his place of work to do a full panel, say the front wing. I wipe it off immediately, if it is allowed to dry you need to work so hard to get it off your elbow hurts!
The pre wax cleaner sounds interesting, you will have to let us know how that goes, might be worth a few quid spending, I am always buying new stuff

I have had enough of this detailing stuff, purely because I have no real clue of what any of it is.
If someone said #5 follwed by #80, i'd end up covering the car in Peking duck and chicken chow mein!
Plenty of time at JAE to teach me Paul

To be honest Ron my car has lots of scars, I drive it too hard
But I like to keep it clean, and always happy to convert the unwashed
