Ballast and Battery
My ballast has gone on one of my lights. At first I thought it was the HID bulb, but when I swapped the ballast over both bulbs were working. I managed to find a 2nd hand OEM ballast because they are stupidly expensive brand new! Honda wanted £313!
When the bulb went out, the next day the battery went flat. I fully charged the battery and the car ran fine for a week, but the battery just died today. My new ballast arrived today and I am planning on fitting it this weekend. Would the dead battery be connected to the ballast not working or should I expect something worse?
Thanks for your help!

that's a good point! I was wondering if this has happened to others when the ballast has gone? I really hope the dead battery is because of the ballast, but I don't want to fix the ballast and then wait for the battery to die again.

Just an update in case anyone reads this and has the same issue.
Turns out the Ballast going had nothing to do with the battery going flat.
I needed a new battery
