I saw that too on the telly - It looked like a terrific road to drive on from the aerial shots, but I guess the corners are much less open on at ground level.
Elise bloke looked like he had completely @rsed up the corner. If he had deliberately tried to push the back end out on what seemed to me to be a blind corner, then

On the Codicote road this afternoon.
This warm weather brings out all the twats on bikes.
I had to ride round to Heathrow today to pick up some car parts and I saw quite a few shinny bikes, shinny leathers and the rider not having a clue

The bike will be as safe as the rider wants it to be.
Like cars.
Many on here have mangled their Ss. Some after days.
I haven't crashed mine after 3 years. Sure, someone could hit me, that could happen on a bike.
But as long as you don't drive like a weapon, you'll be safe.
So bikes are the same as far as I can see. Obviously, when a bike is hit, things can be messier - but thats a 'known' fact.
Accidents are unknowns, most of them the fault of the driver.
So as long as you're not a tool, you'll stack the odds your way.
Drive like a dick and expect to make the Caz Nash call.

I've seen quite a few bikers on that road, place is full of em but its a good road. The worst type are the ones who aren't wearing leathers. Yesterday I saw this woman on the back of a motorbike with a short leather jacket on and a pair of hipster type jeans. a lot of good that would do if she got thrown/fell off the bike.... : ouch: Stupid woman!

I went onto the Elise board when it was on. The guy is fed up with it being repeated.
Seems he had been racing the Ducati for a fair bit before the bend.
