Default Back in an S :D

Well some of you may have seen my other thread about what route to go down for my next car, after a lot of thinking, test driving a couple of different options and hours sat on PH classifieds I came back to the S2000. Massively missed my old Silver one and I managed to find a really nice '05 for sale which has had all the right history and bits doing to it that you'd want, and seems to be in great condition all round - really happy with it so far!

- Love the colour!

Not got any real pics yet so that will have to do^ I wonder if anyone recognises it? The last service was at DMS I believe. I noticed it has a green oil filter at the moment though which is non-OEM? I remember reading some horror stories of cheaper ones falling off so might get this changed.

Its got a K&N FIPK and other than that is standard. The 05 compared to the 01 I had is a lot smoother in all aspects, which I like I think. The engine is silky smooth and the suspension damping is softer than my older one, but until I get a chance to throw it around some nice roads in the sun I'll reserve judgement as to wether it makes the handling better or worse

At some point I'll probably do coilovers on it and maybe some nice wheels but really just want to keep it nice and enjoy it (and not make the mistake of selling it this time)!

Saying that, I might decat it. Or do the 38mm mod. Or maybe a sports cat. It's starting again isn't it?

Could be interested in the wheels if and when you decide to change them.

It might also be a HAMP-filter, those are basically OEM+ quality filters and you should have no worries with one.

It's not - although I just realised it kind of spells Revo

Will let you know if I do, might just get them refurbed in white - should look good against the blue.

I've got a filter like that too, also from Dixon.

I just got one of those filter clamps as a piece of mind.

I love the dark blue, very smart!
